Don Kahle
Columnist / Entrepreneur / AirBNB SuperHost

Don Kahle was once described as "Lane County's Mark Twain."
After editing and owning America's only free weekly humor magazine
from Eugene, Kahle took his wit and wisdom to the editorial page of
The Register Guard, where he has been a fixture every Friday for more than
a decade. His writing has taken him to Iraq and Egypt, Japan and Australia,
Ireland and Isle of Man. He's a member of the National Press Club and is a
former speechwriter for the Obama administration.
Kahle owns a small advertising agency and a software development company.
He was executive director for the local chapter of the American Institute
of Architects for seven years. He has designed and had built three houses.
His AirBNB spaces have garnered almost 500 reviews. He still owns and rents
a condo near Yale University, where he earned a Master's degree in 1991.
